THE GENERAL'S COAT

Every time this certain general went into battle he always told his lieutenant to bring him his red coat.

Battle after battle went by until finally the lieutenant asked the general why he always wore his red coat into battle. The general replied, "In case I get shot my men won`t see the blood and become discouraged in battle".

During one fierce battle the lieutenant ran up to the general saying, "Sir, we are surrounded and out gunned 100-1. We surely are going to die. Shall I get your red coat sir?"

The general surveyed the battle field and replied, "No lieutenant, you'd better bring me my brown pants".
