YES!!!! My German Shepherd dog (aka "Socky") has a sweet tooth!!!!! I caught him with candy AGAIN! <
><
>The other day he was resting on his bed and I happened to notice that he was looking at me kinda funny...the "I did something bad and I hope you won't notice it" type-of-look.<
><
>Since he looked like he was hiding something, I decided to look around his bed...and found a Tootsie Roll, almost completely unwrapped (Don't worry...he seemed careful enough to bother unwrapping it!! HA!!!) and it seemed like he had been licking it and chewing it!!!! I didn't let him finish it and threw it in the garbage. I put the candy bowl away, which before the incident was sitting on top of the cocktail table. Tootsie Rolls have chocolate! I don't know how much he would need to eat before becoming fatal, but anything with chocolate in it could potentially kill your dog.<
><
>Well, last night I was playing SSBM...and while in the middle of a heated battle between Ganondorf and Donkey Kong I started hearing these craaaaaaaaaaaaacking sounds...but they were more like chewing sounds. It sounded like he was chewing on his favorite peanut butter cookies but a bit louder, which is what caught my attention in the first place. I asked what that sound was because the room was dark and we all thought he was just eating a treat. All of a sudden I noticed that the room started smelling like watermelon candy!!!! I dropped the controllers, turned the lights on and guess what? He had just barely finished chewing on a watermelon sucker!!! <
>He had taken the time to unwrap it too! How does he manage to do this? Beats me. All I know is that he was eating the candy and 90% of it was already unwrapped. You are probably wondering what happened with the plastic stick, right? Well, I found little pieces all over the floor. I just hope that he didn't end up swallowing any of its parts! Luckily, this candy abuse didn't end in upset tummy. LOL<
><
>You are probably wondering where in the world did that watermelon sucker come from if the candy bow had already been moved...right? Well, I accidentally forgot this watermelon one, which was wrapped and sitting on top of the cocktail table!!!!! He did all this in the dark!!!!! He seems to do these types of things whenever he sees me distracted while playing a videogame!!! Sneaky, eh?

LOL!!! Mine won't touch anyone's food...so he is pretty good about that...nor he will be on the look for food that gets accidentally dropped on the floor...but he has that sneaky side of him that will make him look for candy when I am distracted doing something else. LOL
