Higher difficulty settings will have you tossing controllers
since it involves much more patience in terms of a-
dvancing and strategic utilization of force po-
wers. Even Vader's level is brutal! For n-
ow, I just may attempt to find all o-
f the force cubes... but we sha-
ll see. I also wanted to inv-
est in Armored Core F-
or Answer, but I h-
ave expenses
this week
and Ph-
ily!

Ok, finished it today and after those final two battles, I think sith warrior is as high as I'm going  So I'm in the same boat... just going back to find the last holocrons, get some of the force mastery achievements and all set :p

Congratulations with the progress you've made! The
Sith Lord difficulty is tough... so chances are th-
at I will save it for another time. Not sure w-
hat I'll be playing now since the luxury ite-
m is limited for me, but Ninja Gaiden
II and Mercenaries 2 need some pr-
ogress. I'm not even going to a-
ttempt Guitar Hero II or eve-
n III yet. Another 2 I've ne-
glected are the Orange
Box and Assassin's C-
reed. Did you man-
age to obtain Le-
go Batman as
of yet? I'm
waiting
for:

-NBA 2K9
-thinking about Armored Core For Answer
-and maybe Brothers in Arms

I may actually be crazy enough to try a higher difficulty once I get the other achievements out of the way  Still working that over. And nope! Didn't get Lego Batman... Not totally sold on it as yet, so gonna research a bit and see how it's being received. My next definite pick up though will be Silent Hill: Homecoming.

Sith Lord kicked my rear, but I've managed
to complete it and I cannot picture how
much more difficult the highest set-
ting will be. Congratulations on r-
eaching the 30K mark in achie-
vement points! Would you b-
elieve that I went back to
playing Castlevania SO-
TN on XBL? I guess I
will be playing tha-
t one next for t-
he very mome-
nt. I still ha-
ve my eye-
s on Ar-
mor-
ed
Core
For Ans-
wer, but an-
other title I wo-
uld like to try is S-
onic Chronicles: The
Dark Brotherhood for t-
he DS which will be releas-
ed the same day as Silent Hi-
ll (30th). Then comes NBA 2K9 o-
n the 7th of next month, and the re-
st of October will be chaotic because of:

these (10/14)

-Saints Row 2
-Dead Space

and the week after that (10/21)?

-Legendary
-Fable 2
-Midnight Club LA
-Spiderman Web of Shadows
-Little Big Planet

and then (10/26)?

-Guitar Hero World Tour

I tried a little sith lord difficulty and I'm not thinkin that's gonna be for me  Not so much the level portions, but the boss fights... if that first battle in the prologue was any indication, the rest will drive me insane  I also gotta revisit that SOTN at some point... just finally finished Bionic Commando. I'm about ready for Silent Hill next week though. As far as 360 goes, I'm just about caught up, so I'm ready for something new :p

I guess you have one more day to wait then, but over
here, Silent Hill Homecoming was available on Fr-
iday along with the Blu-Ray version of Ironma-
n movie, but I was not prepared for either
just yet... also I have enough on my ha-
nds after finally getting Bionic Com-
mando Rearmed, Castle Crasher-
s and Duke Nukem on XBL, th-
ough I do plan on obtainin-
g Sonic Chronicles: Dar-
k Brotherhood tomor-
row for the DS. I h-
ave not tried th-
e Sith Master
difficulty y-
et, but i-
t took
me
a long
time to c-
omplete the
Sith Lord setti-
ng... and I have a-
lot planned for today
around the house, so ch-
ances are that I won't atte-
mpt that one. Good thing that
you are up to speed with the titles
that you own. You should know that s-
uch an accomplishment is unachievable f-
or me (laughs). Currently, my fingers are so-
re and damaged a bit dermally from assembling
a cabinet case for my Dad (it's the second one I've
assembled this week, but with adequate tool this tim-
e), so no intense gaming sessions for me (laughs). I've o-
nly just noticed how pathetic the 360's d-pad is while playing
Castlevania SOTN on XBL (ugh!). I may have to get the updated
controller that is expected to be released with Pro Evolution Socco-
r as a bundle though it will be sold separately. The problem is that co-
mpanies will have to develop patches to update the controllers use for e-
ach game which I doubt will happen. Sort of like implementing trophies for
many of the older games released on the PS3, but ones that didn't sell too well.

You mean it was available Friday pending you have an inside source that can peddle ya the new games early  :poke:

But yeah, I'll get it Thursday actually as I have no time any other day... it actually doesn't hit Best Buy til Wednesday, so I'll get it Thursday. They're even giving the Silent Hill movie on DVD free with it, so that'll work! :dgrin: And ouch! Gotta be careful with the gaming fingers!

How is the Castle Crashers btw? It raised a curious brow, but not enough to buy it just yet... same thing with Braid :brow:

Right now for me, just drifting around various titles

Laughs! That "source" will no longer be available
to me as of November 1st. Well, not immed-
iately available since the location will ch-
ange to some location in NY. I will ha-
ve to find my way there one day I
suppose. The Silent Hill movie
packaged within is quite th-
e incentive. I may have
to get this game my-
self, though I pla-
nned to get it
eventually.
Castle

Knights of the Ro-
und gameplay-wise, b-
ut with more RPG-esque
elements involved as far as
leveling up your character and
obtaining various weapons which
possess enhance different attribute-
s, but it's not as deep as it seems. A b-
utton-masher for sure, but is a blast to pl-
ay online with others. Single player mode is s-
till worth some play throughs, however, multipl-
ayer is where this game shines with anarchy reign-
ing onscreen as the 3 other players help to battle a s-
eemingly endless array of opponents. There is said to b-
e other gameplay modes available, but I have yet to unloc-
k any. There is also supposed to be alot of glitches, but I ha-
ve not encountered any in the short period of time that I have
played. If you wish to be safe, wait for the patch to arrive, but I
know not when this will happen. The only additional bonus to getti-
ng this game now is that some of the glitches actually can help level-
up much quicker, but I'm going through normally inspite of this knowle-
dge unless one is triggered by mistake, but I am not searching for them.

By the way, Braid looks good, though I
am not sure if it's the type of gam-
e that I would get far into inte-
rest-wise. Just like Geomet-
ry Wars... a wonderfully c-
rafted title, but not one
that I really cared mu-
ch for playing. Wor-
k calls so I'll try t-
o provide more
detailed cove-
rage of CC
tonight.

It was worth the wait, because if I would have picked
this up on Friday of last week, this wouldn't have
been the version that I'd receive, and I woul-
d have spent about 35 dollars for it. But
my waiting allowed me to obtain th-
e version posted below and I a-
lso saved 6 dollars in the p-
rocess. Scene It was s-
elling for under 20
dollars, so I in-
vested in t-
hat als-
o!!

Iron Man on Blu-Ray... special edition! I may have to get a standard edition because this was difficult to find and I wish not to open it after learning of this. But we will see...

Here's Scene It! I doubt that I'll be playing this any time soon, however the peripheral will come in handy since a sequel will be made soon. Maybe by then I will have more progress made.

I
may
have to
get my g/f
a 360 and this
game since her f-
amily could apprecia-
te a game of this type.

I picked up Lego Batman almost a week ago. I recommend it, if you enjoyed the Lego Star Wars games. The music is the Danny Elfman score from the '89 movie, so that's sweet to boot up the game and hear that. The villain levels are the same locales as the hero levels, but they're different enough to feel fresh when you play through them. It'd be nice if I had someone to play with though. My wife doesn't play games much. It's not that difficult, but hey, it's a Lego game. The vehicle levels took some getting used to as I thought you were supposed to actually try and drive them. It's actually just point the control stick in the direction you want to go. I'll give it an 8 out of 10.

I've liked the Star Wars ones and the Indiana Jones one, so I may just pick Batman up yet... been hearing it's a pretty good one. Also have to get Silent Hill though tomorrow, so that'll be next on my playlist

Glad to learn that you are enjoying Lego Batman, Ninexpert... and
welcome back by the way! The fact that there is a villain mod-
e makes the game that much more replayable in my opini-
on and the Danny Elfman score should really add to the
experience for those familiar with his score from th-
e antiquated classic. Thanks for the mini-review.
I was watching Silent Hill Homecoming being p-
layed yesterday and was impressed with the
minor touches that add to the atmospher-
e, some of which are new to the series
but can be considered the norm in t-
itles released today such as a full-
y functional and moveable cam-
era and player controlled att-
acks. While it's more com-
bat heavy, fans of the s-
eries have been comp-
laining about this s-
ince it's origin de-
but on the PSo-
ne. I got Son-
ic Chronicl-
es Dark
Broth-
erh-
ood fo-
r the DS y-
esterday, but
I'll post the pics
after returning fro-
m work today if all go-
es well. Maybe even ano-
ther title of all goes well also.

Got Silent Hill and Lego Batman today! Lovin Silent Hill so far... they got 'jumpy' moments right from the start  Nice creepy flow to it all the way thus far  Only did a couple levels of Lego Batman which is more or less the same of what one can expect of a Lego title from what I've seen so far... which is fun! Also improving my guitar hero skills some more... gearing up for World Tour! :D
