 I just meant that it was the first Pokemon game to do it, not the first RPG ever to do it. I'm sure it was done at least once or twice before, but I never played those games myself. I found that if I wanted to play it during the day, I just did so on weekends. No big deal. :p

But yeah, Ruby/Sapphire is when the series jumped the shark. R/S actually took OUT the clock/calendar and day/night cycle and replaced it with non-random weather. It also barely added anything to the battle system, and the graphical upgrade was so minor it was insignificant. Laaaaaaame.

Again, we're talking solely about the video game here, not about the rest of the franchise. :hammer: As I said before, if you look solely at the game as a game, it's not lame. When you throw in the 4 bazillion spinoffs, it's lame. :p

Oh good grief.... As much as I like the games themselves... I find that to be a little too much.

That's insane.

It is good that we have means to treat such people.

The question is, where will we find enough gasoline to make sure that these things will never again scourn the face of the earth?

Eh... Pokeemanz stuff spread out over a larger area isn't quite so bad. It's when it gets concentrated into a small space that this problem arises. This could just as easily be resolved with a Boot to the Head directed at the people collecting them in the first place. :p

Or Masa+Flame Thrower. Insuring a slow, burning, and painful death.

Yeah, but if you set them on fire, they get all charred and you can't give them a Boot to the Head anymore without catching your own foot on fire. That and they won't have a head left to boot after they're just a pile of ashes. That's no fun. :p

So boot them to the head first; that way they're stunned and you can make effective use of the flame thrower to boot. Er, no pun intended. >_>

Eh... flamethrower in this case = meh. Once you use it on something, that's it. You can't do anything else to it. I'd only use a flamethrower on stuff I want to go away forever, like telemarketers and ads for things like Viagra.
