ONE
I will have a cup of coffee in the morning
and read my newspaper like I used to,
before the Web.
TWO
I will eat breakfast with a knife and fork
and not with one hand typing.
THREE
I will get dressed before noon.
FOUR
I will make an attempt to:
clean the house, wash clothes, AND
plan dinner before even thinking of the Web.
FIVE
I will sit down and write a letter
to those unfortunate few friends and family
that are Web-deprived.
SIX
I will call someone on the phone
who I cannot contact via the Web.
SEVEN
I will read a book...if I still remember how.
EIGHT
I will listen to those around me and their needs
and stop telling them to turn the TV down
so I can hear the music on the Web.
NINE
I will not be tempted during TV commercials
to check for email.
TEN
I will try and get out of the house
at least once a week,
if it is necessary or not.
ELEVEN
I will remember that my bank
is not forgiving if I forget
to balance my checkbook
because I was too busy on the Web.
TWELVE
Last, but not least,
I will remember
that I must go to bed sometime...
and the Web will always be there tomorrow!
(I HOPE!!!)

Reading books is kinda weird for me. I go back to find some part to read again and I think Edit menu, then Find or Find Again to search for key words. But of course I can't do that with a real book.

Laughs! Well, for me... reading tends to be
rather lethargic since once I begin, I'm a-
nxiously waiting to get to the point or
the meaning for collection of textu-
al printings (laughs). Spoiled we
are now with video media se-
eming taking over online a-
n even off in terms of vi-
deo advertising in ma-
lls or billboards eve-
n. I do find mysel-
f correcting tex-
t that I read b-
y thinking "t-
hat should
not be t-
here"
or
"this
word sh-
ould have b-
een used inste-
ad." But I've been
doing so for as long a-
s I can remember. If you
get to the point where you a-
re visualizing a point and drag i-
con or action to turn a page for you,
then you "really" need to give the inter-
net or online duties a rest (laughs). I do fi-
nd myself online more than I game these days.

So do you tend to fall asleep when you grab a book?
