Re: 2009 NHL PLAYOFFS
So you really think Washington is gonna beat the Pens, huh? I dunno, man... considering how they fooked around for so long against the Rangers before getting their act together, they're gonna be hard-pressed to beat a team with as much firepower as the Pens if they pull that again.
The rest seem like pretty reasonable predictions, though. I might give the Canes one more game than that, but I doubt they're gonna beat Boston. The Bruins are just too good this year, particularly with Thomas pulling his best brick wall imitation in net.
Re: 2009 NHL PLAYOFFS
I think Washington is the better team, and that they've had their playoff wake up call. And Ovechkin won't stay silent on the scoreboard that long.

Re: 2009 NHL PLAYOFFS
I agree with you about Ovechkin, but I'm also not sure what to make of their rookie goaltender, either. The kid has more career postseason wins than regular season wins at this point. Dunno how long he can keep that act up before he remembers he's a rookie with almost zero experience and he's in the NHL playoffs.
