Reference: Video Game Price Charts

Post by TStodden »

Linkage: http://www.vgpc.com

I stumbled upon this site one late night & found a surprising goldmine buried here.

Video Game Price Charts.com is practically THE pricing guide for Video Games. The site daily compiles data from 4 sites (eBay, Half.com, Amazon & JJGames) to give you a 90-day aggregate price as well as give you pricing trend data (which will vary, but can go up to 50 months).

The site gives you prices (mostly used) for games, accessories & consoles on all the major game systems in the US & Canada.

It's a real helpful site if you're looking to buy or sell a game online as it can give you an idea on how much the game is currently worth. Check it out the next time you're planning on looking for an old game.

I occasionally purchase games online through eBay. But none of them actually turned into profit-making gems. Earthbound could be considered as this, but I purchased that at a GameStop-affiliated store for $30 (now worth around $90)... so that doesn't count.

Now THAT'S one game that I wouldn't
mind owning. I remember when
the DS version was first re-
leased and I was hopin-
g it would be relea-
sed in the US. A
shame it was
never offi-
cially re-
lease-
d h-
ere. I
never m-
ade an onlin-
e purchase thou-
gh I've had friends
make them for me. F-
or now, I'll keep this sys-
tem, but I do have a select
few titles that I wouldn't mind
owning which can only be purchas-
ed online for the moment such these:

-Blazing Lasers (Turbo Grafx-16)
-Earthbound (DS)
-Zelda themed DS (DS)
-Miner 2049er (Atari 5200)

(and more...)
