This was more of my older bro's cat than mine, but I took care of her while housesitting for him & I had her for the last 2 months. She died just after Midnight CDT from liver failure.
Still hurts just as bad...

Even though Toots was practically my bro's cat, I spent a fair amount of time with her at my brother's house. She played the adoptive mother to brother's other, younger 2 cats (both girls) that he kept with him. The only reason he has to give Toots to me was mostly due to the age & potential difficulty to acclimatize with his fiancé's pets (as she has a cat & a dog that's around the same age).
