WARNING: We are [loony] Can you handle that?
I keep a venus flytrap in the bedroom in case any winged insectoid interlopers enter this forbidden territory. Historically they never catch anything and I end up having to find something to feed it, but I checked it tonight and low and behold! One of the babies caught it's first meal!
Loldead. I remember seeing on that show Life on the Discovery Channel how venus flytraps have these special hairs on the inside of their... mouths... or whatever you wanna call them that serve as time-delay sensors. If a random raindrop or something hits one of the sensors, nothing happens, but if two sensors are triggered within a certain number of seconds of each other, it's probably because of a bug, so the plant snaps shut and om noms it. Smart plant is smart.
