I saw this story a few days ago, but only just heard the guy speak last night. Man, talk about a God-given talent. This guy was basically born to be a radio DJ.

Actually, if I recall the story well enough, he wasn't born with it -- he actually got a lot of voice training toward that kind of career. Things fell apart for him for a while after he messed with drugs and alcohol (which he's been clean of for a couple years).

[Frong]

Yeah, he did say that he went to school for voice training and used to previously be a radio announcer before he screwed up his life and ended up homeless. Still, unless you have the inborn talent, you'll never be able to sound like that no matter how much training you go through. Anyway, I didn't realize it before, but this dude is in Columbus, where I live. Maybe I'll hear him on the radio at some point.
