A song of tribute for our most fashionable hat.
Have fun showing Wills and Kate around. Drink beer and blow up Quebec with lots of fireworks. Seriously, I want to see it all the way from Southern Pennsylvania. Make me proud!
Happy Canada Day, Canada! Thanks for the hockey.

Yeah, see if you can't manage to break off Quebec from the continent and float it back over to France, while you're at it.
Then it'll be our turn in a few days to float California over to China, who probably owns more of our debt than the entire state of California is worth now, anyway.
Anyway, Happy Thanks for the Hockey Day. The Jackets just signed James Wisniewski for six years/$33 mil, which means the team finally has a proper #1 center and a proper offensive defenseman/PP quarterback for the first time since... ever. 'Tis a good day for me to appreciate hockey, indeed.

Well, we've got a start on that, we ousted the crazy separatist party from our federal parliament this past election.
Went from holding 47 seats to just holding 4 (out of 308).
And whether or not you get some edumacation down there and start spelling things right, you'll still be our neighbour.

Canadian, Please.

My favorite Canadian.
O Canada
Some proper, awesome Canadian music:
Without these guys influence, there would be no NIN. That would be so very wrong.
More awesome.
Some bad Canadian music that should get you THROWN out of the Commonwealth!

I like to celebrate anything with music:We saw Rush last night, and toward the end they had a Canucks mascot and Bruins mascot on stage fighting, with the Canucks one winning. I don't know how much more Canadian you can get than that!

Yes... yes, in fact, it is. You guys have a lot of space up there... maybe you could take a couple million illegal Mexicans off our hands. You could always put them up in the Yukon somewhere. I don't think anyone would even notice.Masamune wrote:And Canada's really big.
Hah! You still use the same old gimpy spelling as the British. We've long since streamlined the language by removing all those unnecessary u's and e's and occaionally other letters, too (see: tonne --> ton). Get with the program, people.Nakor wrote:And whether or not you get some edumacation down there and start spelling things right, you'll still be our neighbour.

I should wake up Jack and wish him a Happy Canada Day. He is of Canadian descent after all. :P
Re: Happy Canada Day, Canada! Thanks for the hockey.
Hah, we've got nothing on you when it comes to gimpy and old. At least British English still sees common usage throughout the world; you can get back to me when you finally adopt the far more sensible metric system.Frong wrote:Hah! No. NO! You can't make us learn the metric system. YOU CAN'T! We won't use it. WE WON'T!Nakor wrote: Hah, we've got nothing on you when it comes to gimpy and old. (Seriously though, we do learn it in our schools. We're just too lazy to change over. They did try in the 70's.)
Re: Happy Canada Day, Canada! Thanks for the hockey.
Yeah, yeah, I know, the metric system is logical and all that crap. Fine, so we're even, then. British English is only used around the world because they used to go around colonizing everybody, though, so that doesn't count.
