A SNEAKER YOU CAN EAT!

Creator: Swedish designer Olle Hemmendorff

Delicious Details: Air Jordan's got nothing on this these babies. As part of an exhibition, Hemmendorf designed the classic Nike Air Max sneakers using a sturdy sesame baguette, beef patties, pickles, tomatoes, and cheese for the iconic swoosh. Why did Hemmendorf choose the hamburger? He wanted to use "the most powerful, most durable, and most delicious material known to man."

I would too... well, umm, if it
didn't have the beef patti-
es or the cheese (laug-
hs). Very clever! I'll
bet the cost of s-
uch a burger j-
ust may be
a tad bi-
t hig-
h.

(how about a power tie?)

^ Oh man, if I had that when I worked at the call centre, I guarantee I would have used that as my tie on the first professional day available.

How would you get it to stay together when hanging upright, though? Glue? It'd kinda defeat the purpose if you couldn't eat your own tie at some point during the day. :looney:

Nah, see, the purpose would be to show my disdain for the idea that wearing a noose somehow makes me more professional. :p

I once grabbed a red thin .75cm ribbon and tied it in a bow around my neck rather than bothering with a proper tie. Rather than successfully making any point about how ties were stupid, management all loved the damn thing. -_-

Nah, you need to make a less subtle statement if you want to protest the idiocy of ties. You should take a tie and wear it like a noose one time. That oughta get the point across. Fuggin' ties.

The piano one's pretty good, yeah. I kinda wish they'd stick to the food-clothing theme and do some more items like that. A hatwich would be funny. :looney:
