It'sa Nor'easter in October.

Post by Masamune »

Crap. :irked:

My area is expecting ten inches. I am hearing constant cracks and thuds as my trees are being splintered. I am also hearing thudding on the roof as heavy snow and small branches are being blown about. I am praying that nothing hits the house or cars. The electric company told us to expect power outages. I already lost the Direct TV due to branches hanging over and around it.

Stay safe my fellow northeasters. This is going to be a doozy.

We didn't get hit with much, here... the storm kinda radiated in every area all around mine. About an inch here, but then if ya drove an hour or two in any direction, you'd be buried in 6 inches or more.

We got hit with a rather rough punch
(laughs). While it only really amou-
nted to about 4 inches, there w-
er MANY broken tree limbs al-
l throughout my journey ho-
me. First we received fre-
ezing rain at 5am, whic-
h became snow by ab-
out 10am and it did
not stop until abo-
t 1am this morn-
ing. It's 33 deg-
rees F now a-
nd we have
quite som-
e tree li-
mb cle-
aning
to d-
o.
I'm
glad t-
hat it's o-
ver because
my feet were s-
oked coming back
from work yesterday
thanks to the many fre-
ezing puddles that existed
by the time I got off... so no-
w, I'm keeping warm. Consider y-
ourself fortunate, Roemello. I really
do hope that no damage comes to you-
r home and car, Masa. Was the predictio-
n as accurate as was initially indicated, Masa?

We got, maybe, 6-7 inches. I know when I stepped outside it was way above my ankles. The only time I went out was to try and snap some branches away from the dish. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow of my poor trees.
