NEW TECHNOLOGY COULD MAKE EVERYTHING TOUCH-SCREEN...

[soloist]

Imagine your TV switching itself on automatically when you sit on the couch. Thanks to a breakthrough new sensory system from Disney Research, this is now a reality, with a "sensing couch" using their Touché technology. It also automatically dims the lights when you recline, and switches off the lights and TV when you fall asleep in your chair. Touché has been shown to transform water into a touchscreen that detects your touch and even your own body, which can be used to hike the volume of your digital music player with a fingertip. Touché can even tell the difference between the touch of a child, adult or pet, and adjust its response accordingly.
