My thanks, all. I am still on the opposite side of the world without any sort of stable internet connection, so I beg apologies for my rather extensive delay in responding! My actual birthday remained a relatively quiet affair, spent chatting with some of the other students who are with me on this exchange, which frankly, I find to be a pretty good way to enjoy a birthday. That said, my sister's birthday is just shortly after my return to Canuckia, so we shall likely double things up and have some sort of combined ultra-birthday once I'm there and with family again.

ter returning, no one remembered so I
