I was going through Kickstarter when I stumbled upon this cool little Kickstarter project called the gStick.
It's a mouse / trackball in form of a pen / marker, which could be a practical alternative to WACOM tablets. You pretty much just hold the gStick like a pen (or a Sharpie marker, based on it's size) & use in a similar fashion. Mouse buttons are placed where your fingers are located to make it feel natural. It'll run on 1 AAA battery (for about 3 months or so, depending on usage) & include it's own USB dongle to you can connect it to any computer you like.
It seems like a cool item & might be worth checking. If it seems like something you're interested in, visit the Kickstarter page above & make a pledge towards the project.
The gStick is planning to retail for ~$80, but you can get one for $35 in Black OR $37 in a desired color (assuming they get 100 backers for it). If you think it's a great idea, get in while it's cheap!
