Congratulations on your PS4 acquisitioning!
I'm sure Watch Dogs will keep you ple-
asantly entertained... as will Mar-
io Kart 8. What did you think
of Infamous Second Son?
Was there a light an-
d Dark path just
as previous
versio-
ns?

As
for m-
yself, I do-
ubt that I'll be
getting into now-g-

ugh I'm seriously considering
Wii U now that Smash Bros is on t-
he horizon... oh and price point is good:

They just added Ittle Dew to the current Humble Bundle which I'd already bought, so I tried that out. It's a fun little game, but I'll put an emphasis on little -- I got the achievement for clearing it in under 3 hours without any sort of walkthrough or effort on my part, and while clearing some side puzzle rooms for achievements/collectibles. I wasn't even trying to play quickly, just kinda poking my way through it.

InFamous was a lot of fun! And yes... it had both good and bad sides to play through. I actually finished the game twice going down both paths. Storywise they were nearly identical, but you get different variations in the powers you attain. But it was a fun title and the decision maker that had me jump to PS4. I was going with the first system to pop out an exclusive I'd be interested in playing, so PS4 wins the race!

Wii U's a good system too, but they need to churn out more quality titles.... so far, Mario Kart 8 is the most fun I've had on the system. Only opted to get that early because they offered a free game download... I'll take B1G1 deal any day!

I've heard of Ittle Dew. Is the game THAT
easy or are you THAT skilled, Nakor?
From my understanding, it's not t-
hat lengthy or difficult. I do h-
ope that you've enjoyed th-
e experience of playing
it though. I hear you

very mome-

in that category for
me since there are ple-
nty of titles out now that
I'd enjoy and the price-point
is more suitable for me right now.

(for the Wii U, I'd like to own...)

-Super Mario 3D World
-New Super Mario Bros. U + Luigi
-Tekken Tag Team 2
-Zombi U
-Mario Kart 8

(and of course the up and coming Super Smash Bros...)

There are a couple kinda tricky parts, but mostly it's pretty easy. Easier, for example, than any of the Zelda games. I mostly just cruised through it without too much thought. It's probably more challenging to do with only two of the three items in the game (you can apparently clear the game with any two of the three, by taking different paths through the main castle).

I see... so maybe it would have been more
of a challenge if only two items wer-
e allowed instead of 3. Is there
a difficulty setting availab-
le as well? I'm sure tha-
t would have helpe-
d as well. Mayb-

ult settin-
g was:

(what do you think?)

No difficulty settings. It's just a light game is all, really; it probably wasn't really meant to be a challenge. I think the idea is that you'd play through it multiple times, using each combination of two items or something. But having done most of the puzzles in the first playthrough, I don't really see any motivation to keep at it.

I'm not sure what a difficulty setting would do for the game. The combat wasn't really the main focus, and there were only a couple areas (mainly the last boss fight) where combat was even significant. It's not easy to make puzzles harder via a difficulty setting (you'd basically have to make all new puzzles for hard mode, at which point you could simply put those puzzles into the main game by adding more areas).

There's a good deal going if you're out for a Wii U. You could get the Mario Kart 8 bundle and download Super Mario U as your freebie (presuming you're on club nintendo). Not sure if they'll do similar whenever Smash Bros. comes out.

Finished Assassin's Creed IV finally, so next up will be Watch Dogs. Though also still having fun with Mario Kart 8 on the side :gamer:

Something that may have helped to add replayability
to Itle Dew in my opinion is different enemies or
a change in A.I. behavior along with a palet-
te swap even. Additional items that wou-
ld change gameplay would help too in
my opinion. But ultimately, I'm sur-
e that different puzzles or a low-
er price would have been suit-
able. At a cheaper price, t-
he simplistic progression
rate would be fitting,
at least I'd think so.
Just spewing a f-

is
ther-
e anythi-
ng else that
you can think of
that'll improve on It-
le Dew, Nakor? That sou-
nds like a good promotion, R-
oemello! Unfortunately, I'm not
enrolled in Club Nintendo (though I
should have long ago). Thanks for men-
tioning this! I'll probably get the 3DS versi-
on and try for the Wii U this holiday. Congratu-
lations on completing Assassin's Creed IV! I'm still m-
aking slow progress with Borderlands 2 on the Vita and
finally got into Luftrausers! I'll see if I can make more prog-
ress in the titles listed below to end my procrastination streak.

-Super Mario 3DS (3DS)
-Uncharted (Vita)
-Rayman : Origins & Legends (Vita)

(and this is just a start...)

It was quite a good game, I don't really have any complaints for it beyond 'easy' and 'short.' Easy isn't really a complaint even; while it's too easy for my taste, that's something that some people might be looking for.

It looked interesting from what I've seen of it from
a visual standpoint as well as the mechanics.
The name alone caught my interest whe-
n I first heard of it. Do you think you
will try another playthrough, Nak-
or? I'm still messing around wi-
th Luftrausers trying to fin-
d the best aircraft com-
bination to progress
comfortably (lau-

you plan on

I might, probably only as a time waster though. I'm still playing Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, I have a pretty good run with a demigod fire elementalist going on, and I've been playing pretty slowly, trying to avoid getting this character killed off from sloppy play.

I've seen a video of it, and DCSS looks
interestingly deep. How did you
stumble upon this game? W-
as it part of a humble p-

it:

Been having fun with Mario Kart 8, though a bunch of other games have to kind of be put to the side for the time being.

Not sure if I've posted my Wii U NNID here yet, but it's kohpelord.

Which, DCSS? It's a free game, in the vein of the old traditional roguelikes (Nethack, Angband, etc.). You can get it here. It definitely takes experience and patience to play through, but unlike some of the older roguelikes (Nethack) no spoilery info is required to have a hope of winning -- just good tactics and good strategy (with tactics probably being the more important of the two).
