A Karaoke plug~in? I have never seen those types of Midis with the pop-up window. Interesting...

Midis can sound good, but only with a Wavtable Synth.<

Re: What's your preferred music player?
I guess it all depends on what you need the Midi for...if file sizes are important and lyrics are not necessary, then you can use a Midi for background music. But it all depends on where you use them....

None of your MP3 players will work with an iPod though

Re: What's your preferred music player?
I know! I think I mostly stick to Winamp because of the fact that I can change skins! I love that! <

>Now....only bad thing is...it's hard to find a nice Winamp skinmaker...or I would be making my own Winamp skins too.<

Re: What's your preferred music player?
yeah, i find that making skins is too involved for my tastes. i used to make them when it was just the main window that was skinned. i made a txt file with the dimensions of all the pieces.<
><
>now ya gotta skin the whole thing, and it's easier to dload good ones made by other ppl <

>ive seen a few good skinmakers (not the skin-generators which make a skin from a bmp) i just lost my bookmarks to them. searching for winamp skinmaker
ings up a few. ya might try searching on a few skins websites to see if they link to em.

Re: What's your preferred music player?
Yep! You are right! There are plenty of cool-looking Winamp skins out there. Awhile back I downloaded a trial version for some skin maker. Only problem was....it would only skin the top part...and what I wanted was to cover the whole area. Didn't think the investment was really worth it (You had to purchase the full version to get the whole thing skinned). <

Sometimes, when I'm bored and have nothing else to do. I go thru Winamp's large archive of Skins for download.
