Man, oh man is Nintendo's console in desperate need of some RPG love. Luckily, I'm hearing at least one more is in the works. The creators of the battle-happy Tales of Symphonia are supposedly cranking away on another roleplayer for Gamecube that's also set in the Tales universe, but it probably won't be a direct sequel.<

Re: YET ANOTHER GC RPG?
*points out that Tales of Eternia, which IS a pre-sequel to Tales of Symphonia, is coming out on the PS2 and PSP* <

Re: YET ANOTHER GC RPG?
*points out that Tales of Rebirth, which probably has nothing whatsoever to do with Tales of Symphonia, will be coming out on PS2 at some unspecified time in the future* <

Re: YET ANOTHER GC RPG?
Eternia and Destiny are set in a different universe from Symphonia and Phantasia, which are definitely related to each other. Sheena is the ancestor of a ninja you meet in Phantasia, who has the same last name as her. There are several subtle links between the games.<

>Tanis, Eternia was a PS1 game. What you're thinking of that's coming out on the Ps2 is Tales of Rebirth, and Tales of Eternia was shown as a tech demo on the PSP. No word on if it will actually be ported, though. "As long as there are dreamers who have the courage to follow their dreams, there will be heroes. And as long as there are people who pursue the unkown, there will be new stories to be told...and new adventures to be had." ~ Skies of Arcadia Legends <

Re: YET ANOTHER GC RPG?
None of any of which has anything to do with the topic in the first place, save that they're all made by the same company, which gives all its games the name "Tales of." Probably because they're the Namco Tales Studio. So there. Blargity. <
