After reading through the whole thing glad to see tea drinkers here!!

My grandmother is from England and I have visited several times and am very close to my family there. I love a good cuppa! I'm very picky about tea and don't like the fruit teas (and don't consider Lipton "tea" although I will drink it if it's the ONLY tea bag around. Yes, I'm a tea snob.) I also take my tea black with 2 sugars. I'd love to have a few Bakewell Tarts to go with my lovely cup right now!

So...in your opinion, what's THE best brand when it comes to tea? :bouncy:

I don't have a gall bladder (had that removed back in May '04 after it went bad on me), but thankfully, that only affects my ability to digest fatty foods. I can still eat spicy stuff and drink coffee. Granted, I have acid reflux disease, too, but Nexium makes quick work of that. Stuff works like a charm. :D

Normally if I have tea it's some kind of mint. lol Peppermint or spearmint. It works wonders for relieving headaches and settling an upset tummy. Since I suffer from tension, sinus and migraine headaches I always have some on hand.

In my opinion PG Tips or Sainsbury's Red Label.

I just finished yet another cup of PG Tips. I can get that here in the states, but have to have someone bring over Sainsbury's.

Yum!!!

I like some of Tazo teas.

I also used to like Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger, but don't have that very often, maybe will buy a box once a year or so. I determined that I really like the tea box art better then the tea itself.

I also had once a cup of Hibiscus Tea mixed with something else I can't remember, it came in a little can of tea bags. I think they bought it at Borders Bookstore. Anyways, It was very good. Unusual.

I would feel both weird and strangely guilty starting a thread prompting people to tell everyone what's wrong with them. I dunno... there's just something weird about asking people openly for that information. It a bit different from them volunteering that info themselves. Just a little. :p

I've never had those two teas, even while visiting England. I'll have to give those a try and see how I like them.

I wonder why is that flavored teas are not that popular in the UK. Could it be that flavored teas are not strong enough?

That sounds pretty good, Michael! :biglick: Do you add the liquid creamer type?

Jazzy - Ya know...I keep looking for that raspberry creamer EVERY time I go to the store...but I never see that flavor!
