Wow, that urinal phone booth is actually a live auction. That means the actual auction for it is being held publicly in a real auction hall! That'll be an interesting one. :p

Plus, I remember seeing that free typo searching once somewhere for free (I think there was a web site set up for it. (It isn't actually a bad thing to try by the way -- there's less bidders on misspelled listings, as less people find them, so you end up winning for less many times. Just be careful of the seller, as most tend to be newbies when there's typos.)

And also . . . if people are willing to buy Wal-Mart receipts for thrice the price on the receipt . . . I might just have to buy there more.

Why buy that, when I can easily find misspelled words myself? ;)

The phone booth is actually interesting, though. Too bad I don't really have the money or the space for something like that.

The Phone Booth with a urinal could come in handy for some people. Even Superman has to go once in awhile.

The receipt could be useful if you had any one of the items the guy bought and wanted to return said item, but had lost your own receipt, although you may have to travel to Virginia to do it; so it may not be such a hot deal afterall.

Some people just bid on it because they like the joke, and want to make it even more amusing (in their eyes).

Some people try to stop joke/scam listings by outbidding everyone with a huge bid. (Not only is this against eBay's rules, but in cases like these, they might end up having to pay too -- it's a legitimate auction, as lame of one as it is.)

Either type of bidder is not a bright one IMO.

Me thinks the reciept is saying the person didn't get their cash back... so now he/she thinks others can get away with it... yes?

On ebay you can retract your bid at any time, so right at the end alot of people will drop out and only leave the true bidders behind.

Yeah, but then they get suspended for doing that instead. :p

Oh yeah, and you'd have to do it with at least 12 hours left. (Unless you bid in the last 12 hours.)

If you're actually dumb and bored enough to bid on a st00pid-arse joke auction like that at all, you probably deserve it.

I agree...plus...the risk of getting suspended should also cut down on the # of phoney bids too.

Woo hoo I'm sorta, almost (not really) famous.

I wrote to the guy selling the Wal-Mart receipt and he put my e-mail up on his page. http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... _VI&page=2

I didn't bid though (I've got more then plenty of receipts and more then plenty bags of my own.)
