I had to put air in my tire today and in that few minutes the heat from the pavement went thru my shoes and burned the bottom of my feet! SICK UGLY HOT!

Here's another one... I made sun tea and when I went to pour some it smelled funny. It was so hot it rotted the tea in the short time I was trying to make it.

I had the unfortunate luck to be in California when it hit the 120s in I believe 2002. We were actually travelling to Nevada, but the car couldn't stand the heat and burned out. We got stranded in some tiny town there (can't remember the name at this point) for a week in that blasted heat. Stayed over 115 every day, hit over 120 once. UGH.Jazzmyn wrote:Roemello wrote:

It's still pretty hot here, upper 90s in America-go, but Weather Canada says we can expect some more cloudy weather to cool things off a bit late in the week. Then again, they have a pretty bad track record recently.
