Possible Downtime Nov. 19

Post by Roemello »

I got an email from my server hosts that there's gonna be some maintenance done on November 19 between 1 AM and 8 AM EST, so the board may be down for some duration during that time... they say it'll be minimal, so hopefully it won't be too much of an inconvenience :)

Just a heads up so no one wonders why the site's down during that time frame ;)

This is most likely because the server admins are getting a Nintendo Wii around that time & using "server downtime" as an excuse. :mwaha:

Anyways, thanks for the heads up on that!

 LOL yeah, I hadn't even thought about that. I doubt seven hours in the middle of the night would be enough to satisfy their craving for Zelda, though (that's undoubtedly what most of them would be playing, anyway). :p

Only in the middle of the night? What, you never go on in the evening? :looney: Anyway, I get to go on the RT while I'm at work, so practically all day is my prime viewing time. Muaha.

Anyways, if you're up during that time & it's clear... why not watch the Leonid Meteor Showing from 3:00 AM - Sunrise Local Time.

Just look to the east about half-way up (~45 degrees) to view them, but it's best that you get away from city lights. You'll see about 20 "Shooting Stars" per hour, if you care to watch.

If the site's down I'll go check Myspace, Live Journal, my Paul McCartney group I'm part of and a few other sites and then I'll go cry in a corner until this site's back up.
