I really, REALLY want to get a cat, but my mom is allergic and scared of them. I've tried convincing her to get some Claritin, and that a kitten won't hurt anybody, but to no avail...so I guess I'm going to have to settle for a dog. Any suggestions on what kind, and where to get him? (her) I'm taking a liking to Norwich Terriers...but I still have options...any suggestions?<

The Ruler Pepper Ann
Re: Help!!
How can your mother be scared of a beautiful thing like me? Well, if she wants a dog, get something small; bigger ones are scary. I think my Daddy's folks got a miniature Australian Shepherd, and that type of dog seems to do OK.

Re: Help!!
Good tip, Soloist. Actually...the pound usually won't keep dogs and cats with behavioral problems that could possibly affect people in any way. That's what I have been told by some members of the Humane Society.<
