Not surprised with your choice, Wario
seeing as the dedication to this p-
rofession is consistent (laugh-
s)! The only problem with
that scenario, Frong
is that it may g-
et lost with
other p-
osts.

For the obvious reason my planned update this weekend has been delayed, but I do want to pick up the pace a bit, so I'm going to see if I can't update within the next day or two. I don't know for sure at this point how busy I'm going to be; if ICBC is able to quickly get a hold of both witnesses, everything might be resolved over a couple days, but I doubt it—so chances are I'll have the time either tomorrow or Wednesday to write an update.

Choose Your Own Adventure - Current Episode: 45

[E] They combine their powers and summon CAPTAIN HOCKEY!
[H] Launch an onslaught of Foobys at the attacking heroes.

It seems that when I finally have both the motivation and energy to actually get something done on time, I get smacked by a car. Either way, the show will go on (darn it)! (*Cough.*) And it will do so with WATERMELONS AND CHEEZY DRAMATIC COMBINING-POWER SEQUENCES! (Dun dun dun...)

Without further ado,

The Story, Part 45

The puck slid back to Ingrid who started to attempt an advance when the two draconians suddenly pulled out giant bazookas and began launching Fooby T. Watermelons across the arena toward the heroes. Ingrid found herself having to move quite quickly to dodge the whizzing watermelons, and was unable to make progress up the ice. Nine too was having difficulty fending off the watermelons, splorting the occasional one with a hard shuriken throw. The Cute Fuzzy Thing was dodging (and in fact, hopping across them) without visible difficulty, but also not gaining a great deal of ground, nor of course could it handle itself one-on-three against the opposing team if it could advance.

Being slowly but surely driven back by the draconian team, the trio found themselves closing around their own net. The Cute Fuzzy Thing made some Cute Fuzzy (and Urgent) Noises. The other three teammates shared a quick glance with hope in their eyes. It just might work! And so, before the puck was lost, they all held their rings (that the author would not care to explain the origin of, nor the story of how they suddenly wound up on their fingers, albeit that it would be amusing, involving space monkeys, a roll of dental floss, and Jim Carrey) into the air, shouting in turn:

"Lost Teeth!"
"Broken Nose!"
"Black Eye!"
(Cute Fuzzy Grunt!)

Then, from within the arena, a rumble. "By your powers combined . . . I AM CAPTAIN HOCKEY!!!"

Then, bursting out from a tunnel (dug by an ancient race of semi-intelligent worms that had been in the area at the time) that had just appeared in time for it to happen, Tiger Williams burst forth into the ring. (Wasn't it a hockey arena you ask? Well, there was this thing going down on Jupiter at the same time....)

Needless to say, Tiger Williams proclaiming himself as Captain Hockey came as quite a shock to the combatants in the ring. The lot of them, heroes and heels alike, stood staring in stunned silence. Which was fine by Tiger Williams; all the easier to start a brawl! And so, with Tanis finding his jersey pulled over his head, it was on!

* Tiger Williams, for those who don't know, holds the all-time record for penalty minutes in the NHL, with 3966. (To put that into perspective, the current active leader, Chris Chelios, has a mere 2837 penalty minutes.)

So, how does the brawl go?

[A] < ^ > v < B
Zeeky Boogy Doog!
[C] Tiger Williams wins. Everyone else loses. Everyone. o_o
[D] Tiger Woods wins?
[E] A tiger wins!?
[F] The CFT winz . . . with a Z!

With so many good options, how do you decide? I must admit, this is one of the more difficult votes. I'm going to go with...um, F.

Yeah, I may as well just go ahead and say F, as well. It looks like that was gonna be the winning choice no matter what I say, and I do sorta wanna see what happens when CFT iz teh winnar, anyway. :p

Can we get an update? It's been quite some time.

I think Nakor should find a way to use Ye Olde Massive Looney Plothole-Type Device Thing to end this thing within one or two more episodes. :p Then we could simply put it in the archives for safekeeping, where it probably belongs.

Can we get a new chapter? We haven't had one in a few months.

Did you try finding a bigger and heavier Large Generic Blunt Object with which to whack Nakor upside the head? I think he needs a reminder.

Yeah I know. I've forgotten totally about it. >_< I'll try to update this weekend and see if I can keep up the pace for a change. ~_~

You could always try whipping out a massive, galactic-sized plothole like they did at the end of Zero no Tsukaima II and wrap things up in one shot that way. Or did you never get around to finishing that yet? :p
