Adding Mystic River and Syriana.
Thanks!

Kill Bill is good but...
Kill Bill 2 is better, more of a convincing storyline...but if you like blood and guts, the first should be more down your alley.

I'm kinda undecided about Kill Bill. The reviews on Amelie are
all really good at Netflix so I am adding it. Also added Run Lola Run.

Well, for the others I mentioned, "Matchstick Men" is well cast, well directed, with a very surprising twist ending...the trailers for it however were misleading, made it seem more of a warm movie than it is.
"Punch Drunk Love" is weird but adorable at the same time.
"Ghost World" is for the cynical, the one who feels out of place in the modern world. Very well done for those who can dig the cult-film atmosphere of it.
What kind of movies are you looking for?

Good question. Not that I am "moody" lol, but the type of movie that I
would enjoy depends on the mood I happen to be in. I think movie critics
sometimes aren't fair in their reviews because they are just plain feeling
rotten before they even begin!!

Here are some I would recommend:
Waiting for Guffman
Best in Show
A Mighty Wind (even though this isn't as good as Waiting for Guffman and Best in show)
Dazed & Confused (very funny movie set in the 70s)
Imagine Me & You (a love story with a twist)
Peter's Friends

Cool! I've heard of a couple of these. Gonna check out the trailers
at Netflix!

Hey Netflixers, want to be "friends" on Netflix? Then we can all see what we're watching, what's in each other's queue and make recommendations. Just a thought. PM me for my email address or send me yours through PM.
I have tons of movies in my queue. Basically I went through the generes I like and added movies that I'd heard of but haven't seen. Time consuming, but well worth it!!

Kill Bill 1 and 2 were good. Violent and somewhat drawn out, but overall good. Here is a montage of the two films if you wanna check it out. (the music is really loud in this montage, so you might wanna turn down the speakers.

I liked the first Kill Bill better than #2.
Hey Gary, I got a good one for you, Fargo. I've seen this movie several times and it makes me laugh a lot. William H macy and Steve Buccemi (sp) are fantastic. And Francis (sp) McDourman (sp) is wonderful as the 7 months pregnant cop, Marge.

Thanks for the link, Patty. Think I'll add them.

Excellent movie. Caught it on tv a couple of times and really enjoy it.
I just watched Walk The Line and I gotta say that I bought into it pretty
fast. The characters were totally believable. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese
Witherspoon had a real chemistry that came through on film and I found
myself caring about them. Good movie!

My Mom just put on the top of the queue "Akeela and the Bee". It's a documentary (I think) about this inner city girl who competes in a spelling bee. Can't wait to see it.

Gary,
I love watching movies. The Geisha movie was great. I looked under thrillers on netflix and saw a few I had seen recently. Firewall and Flightplan were pretty good

Also under comedy 50 First Dates is so cute

Saw this at the cheap theater, it was ok. The little girl is a great actress.

Yeah, my sister recommends Firewall also... Its added and I am thinking
about Flightplan. (Helen Hunt?) I like her...
Thanks Patty!
I am also adding "Good Night And Good Luck."
Anyone have thoughts on:
Empire Falls
Ray
French Kiss
An Unfinished Life
