The way the tournaments work is... or at least the way it seems to me is that they put you in a pool of anywhere from 1000-5000 players based on your characters levels and how well you ranked in the previous rounds and you battle the other players teams to earn points and move up the leaderboard. Based on how high ya get, you can win new characters and powers for them. When other players beat your team, you lose points... but if other players fail against your team, you get additional points, so the stronger ya build up, the better ya make out in these events. I did well on the last one, but this season's wrecking me... I got in a horrific pool of bad asses with maxed out characters

I see! Quite the interesting concept to enhance
the replay factor without directly jumping
into the full multiplayer experience. V-
ery clever. It reminds me of the ide-
a that's used in the Forza Horize-
n series with the Drivatar syst-
em where you battle again-
st a players A.I., not the
actual player themsel-
ves. How you mixed
up with such skil-
led opponents
only means
that you
are co-
nsid-
ered as
a advance-
d player... so
this should be a c-
ompliment for you (la-
ughs). Just kidding... but
it's a shame that you're being
placed in such challenging sessio-
ns. Do you think it may be a glitch pe-
rhaps? How high are your character's levels?

:noclue:

I've learned that I could use coins to purchase
trophies in Smash Bros. 3DS so I went nut-
s and spent nearly all of the coins I'v-
e saved on them. I've also learne-
d that each time the Smash R-
un is completed, the trop-
hy list is renewed, so
right now, I'm sav-
ing coins and i-
n-game tok-
ens to ge-
t troph-
ies!!

At
the m-
oment, I h-
ave 491 trophi-
es out of 684 or 85.

Recently I've picked up Hyrule Warriors (haven't played much of it yet) and Bayonetta 2 (up to Chapter V).

Congratulations on acquiring both titles, Pelord!
Bayonetta 2 comes with the original game
on a separate disc, is this accurate?
Bayonetta needs no descriptio-
n though (laughs). It's not t-
o be described. It's an e-
xperience. Let me kn-
ow what you think
of Hyrule Warr-
iors when y-
ou get to
play i-
t, o-
k?

(I'm still with Smash Bros 3DS at 540 trophies now...)

Yeah, when you buy Bayonetta 2 on disc, it has a separate disc with the original game.

So essentially, you get two games for the price of
one... great! If I ever get a Wii U, this will d-
efinitely be one of the games I'll invest
in. The others would be Zombi U,
Smash Bros Wii U, Super Mar-
io Bros Wii U + Luigi, Su-
per Mario World 3D,
Tekken Tag Tou-
rnament 2, M-
ario Kart 8
and Hy-
rule
Warriors.
Right now, I
am still playing
Smash Bros 3DS and
attempting to acquire a-
ll of the trophies. In total, th-
ere are 685, but I only have 608 r-
ight now and the remaining few are p-
roving to be a challenge to find, even durin-
g trophy rush, a mode where trophies are easier
to get. But in this mode... I keep getting duplicates.

WWE 2k15 for PS4... although overall it's a severe disappointment, it's kinda growing on me. Career mode isn't too bad and the gameplay changes work decent enough. It's just customization is pure crap... they took about 8 generation steps backwards to the point it's almost non existing. Not seeing as much replay value as past titles. They better get it right next time or the wrestling community's gonna riot on 2K for killing the genre

Also still on Hyrule Warriors, though Super Smash Bros. Wii U will be soon coming for me as well.

I'm sorry to learn that the PS4 version of WWE 2K15 is more
of a downgrade, especially considering that this is the
new-gen version. The last gen versions, I can und-
erstand why features would be dropped sinc-
e they're being phased out in terms of su-
pport and now-gen systems are sellin-
g better now. Let me know what
you think of Smash Bros Wii
U. I know Hyrule Warri-
ors is still fun and t-
hat there's still
a LOT to do
in that g-
ame.

R-
ight n-
ow, I'm still
on Smash Bros 3-
DS and figured out th-
e trophies I've been missin-
g... well, more of them, not all
of them (laughs). Right now, I have
668 trophies. I also have 4 panels left in
the 2nd set of challenges (31/35) and in the
3rd panel, I have 18 out of 35 (two hammers each).

I did manage to get Smash Bros. Wii U, haven't played it too much but I have started making a bit of progress. Online is a bit spotty for me, seems I can stay inside of a session once I'm in one, but I keep getting communication errors or errors saying the game can't detect my network in the online mode menus and the online player list, even though my connection seems to be just fine. I have heard about certain errors causing problems as far as the Wii U console bricking, but I don't think it's the same issue. I haven't played Mario Kart 8 since the problems, so I'm not sure if it is just a problem I'm having with Smash Bros. or if the latest Wii U update is giving me connection issues in general. The only other Wii U game I've played recently is Bayonetta 2.

I'm sorry to hear of your online problems with Smash Bros Wii U, Pelord.
I've experienced many connectivity issues during my first attempt-
s with the same game on the 3DS. I think it's more the game.
I just hope that you don't lose data as I've been reading
of other gamers who have after their systems were
bricked thanks to a problem coming from Sma-
sh Bros Wii U. The game may be related to
this problem because the only other is-
sue I've heard from Wii U owners is
discs not reading, not systems g-
etting bricked. I hope Ninte-
ndo addresses this issue
via update... and so-
on. And if the up-
date was the p-
roblem, a w-
orking on-
e shou-
ld b-
e in or-
der and as
quick as possi-
ble before gamers
opt to format their sy-
stems as they're being ins-
tructed to via console from m-
y understanding. You may want to
leave SSB's online component alone for
now until this issue is rectified. I'm still pla-
ying Super Smash Bros 3DS and got a few more
challenges completed. The stats are as indicated:

got 2 more trophies (670) up 2 since last time

panel 1 (completed) 35/35
panel 2 (one more challenge left, up 3 since last time) 34/35
panel 3 (22 out of 35, up 4 since last time) 22/35

There was another Wii U system update since... no idea what it did though. Before downloading it I was in the Smash online menus and didn't have any problems. I haven't done any extensive research but I have an idea as to what could have been the problem. I'll have to check a bit more on that, though.

Have you discovered anything new, Pelord? I've not
read more of this issue since that last update,
but I haven't been to many forums at all.
Just some Wii owners I'm familiar wi-
th locally. I hope you haven't exp-
erienced any other problems
with your system since t-
he last post. By the w-
ay, I visited your T-
witch page and
viewed a f-
ew of y-
our
recor-
ded stre-
ams (one fr-
om Bayonetta,
the MK8 video an-
d the Smash Bros se-
ssion. It's a shame that
you don't as much support
from those you're familiar wit-
h over there. Like you said in one
of your videos, if someone notices th-
at a person is not getting as many views,
let others know of their streams so that they
can get more support. I'm not on Twitch, but if I
decide to sign up, I'll try to view your videos and co-
mment on them when I get the time. I've gotten all that
I'm willing to attempt in Smash Bros 3DS since I now have a t-
otal of 680 trophies (only 5 left) and have completed both panels
one and two with only 4 left to unlock in panel 3 (which I don't plan o-
n attempting). Now, I've gone back to Super Mario 3D Land (level 5 I think).

(also, I just started playing Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the PS Vita)

I'm still playing Uncharted on the
Vita and though I said I was
finished playing Smash
Bros 3DS, I tried it
again and got
a new tro-
phy, so
I'm b-
ack
on that
game again
(laughs), just to
see if I can find any
more trophies. Right now,
my trophy count in SB3DS is 681
out of 685. I'm going to research this
to see if I should continue my efforts this time.

Well you can have a Twitch account without being a broadcaster, mostly for following those who do or interacting in chat. No idea what the next game I'm going to stream will be, but I have plenty to choose from :P Recently I've been helping out with a charity marathon on another streaming site (Hitbox), and I'll be in another marathon this week on Twitch.

As for the Smash Bros. communication error problem, it may have something to do with a Teamspeak server I was using when playing. Not the one I paid for, but one that someone else I know recently started up. I had no problems with the game when I was connected to my server, or even in a Skype group call. I haven't tried playing while connected to the other server since the last system update, though.
