I got part of my Amazon order today. Halo for PC and the novels, which I've heard pretty good reviews about. I was always curious about the Halo storyline (must be the RPG nerd in me.) I played Halo on PC before and liked it anyway. Maybe this time with my own copy, I'll beat it.

Crysis...Haven't loaded it yet. Been trying out the demo and my P4/geforce 7600 gt seems to handle it sorta ok at medium low settings...
Not quite ready to make the leap to a core i7 box just yet though...

Also got a Ratpadz gaming pad. Not so much for gaming as for durability and ease of cleaning... I do find it to be a pretty darn good
surface for my laser mouse...

I only have a few pc games that I play occasionally though I sure did enjoy FarCry a lot!
I was really thinking about getting a Wii, but pretty much have decided to put the moola
into a new computer instead. Think I'd like to wait a bit and see how Windows7 shakes out
and maybe the new quad core processors will drop a little in price by then.

I got a folding table that folds in half at Home Depot for 50 bucks. It's to help a Food Not Bombs group on Sundays. A part was loose because one screw was loose and another was completely off. So I returned it. I got another at Target for the same price. I thought it was made from the same manufacturer. But it's a little better and all the parts are secure.

That's the only major purchase I've had this week. Been making more money than I've been using, even after making a $400 payment on my truck, $100 more than needed. And a whole month ahead so it's really an extra $400. So far my 5 year payment plan looks like it will take a lot less than 5 years.
