It seems that somebody had some times on their hands to create a pretty cool & run timewaster that you can utilize with ANY WEB Page. Eric Rothoff created a little Javascript bookmarklet (which you can add to your bookmarks) that launches an asteroids-like game with the page you're currently on.Controls are simple...
Left / Right - Rotate
Up - Thrusters
Space Bar - Fire
Escape / Mouse Click - Exit game (any modifications done to the page will remain until you reload it)
However, everything on the page is consider an "Asteroids", which you can fire at & destroy. Fun way to take out annoying ads, comments, or pretty much anything else. I will note that any "modifications" done to the pages with this bookmarklet are non-permanent & are only visible on your screen. After you refresh the page (or click on a non-destroyed link), the page will return to it's normal self.
Visit the source link above to check it out!
Enjoy!
