What did you give your pets for Christmas?

Post by CORVETTE GIRL »

My dog got a huge plate filled with freshly baked ham and a stuffed animal. Yours? Do you give your pets any gifts?

Pepper Ann got an insane battery-powered mouse. Puff got a toy with a spring and a puffy ball on one end, the kind that she bats at and drives her nuts. They both got a motherlode of treats (22.5 pounds of Meow Mix, which they think is treats.) Murphy got one of those feather-on-a-string toys. Along with two spare feathers. <

Pepper Ann and Puff live with my mother. Murphy lives with my father and belongs to my stepmom (or I should say it's the other way around.) He goes outside and catches small animals, and when he's inside, we spoil him with the finest tissue paper and toys. He also likes to sleep in boxes that are just barely big enough for him. He turns 9 this Fe
uary and, despite being probably the most in-shape cat I know, is far heavier than even Pepper Ann or Ozzie. But at least he lets us pick him up...Ozzie never used to... <

Well, I have two as a matter of fact, and one thats a mix. The first is a male, ruger, and I got him in 93, so he is going on 9 now. The second is a papered (akc) shepard, and she, raven, is going on 5. My third is a rott/shepard mix, and he is going on 5 as well. 6The two males don't get along though. They almost killed each other once (and the rott/shepard, oso, is about 150). So I have to keep those two seperate at all times.<

It's not difficult. One stays outside, one stays inside. Then when the one in the house needs to go out, i put him in my room, and then i let the other one in to the room next to mine, and let the other one out. Then the one from the outside gets to roam the house freely and vice-versa.

Yeah, it's that "male dominance" thing male dogs have going. Mine is not too nice with other males....but it all depends on if the other dog acts threatening...<
