WARNING: We are [loony] Can you handle that?
I gave birth to my babygirl. She's doing well now, but it was difficult for a while. After five weeks of hospital, of which she was in an incubator for three and a half, she came home. She's been here for two weeks now. Things are going well. I had a very rough labour, which became an emergency c-section. After being in bed for 5 weeks, I got fever (which is whi they hospitilised me in the first place: infection is the biggest danger when your 'water' is broken prematurely) and labour started shortly after that. Because of all that I am still pretty week, which is very annoying. I can't even walk for more than 10 minutes.
Baby was born at 32.4 weeks, which is 7 weeks and 6 days too early. She was pretty small, 1840, she is now 2900gr. She is very beautiful, and she looks like her brothers. I am very happy to have her, lucky as well. Eventhough I won't be back here for a while, there are people here (you know who you are!) I wanted to let know we're doing ok! You can send me a private message with your email adress for a picture (or 10.000 of them )
I was wondering how you were doing and hoped you'd post an update. Congrats Bel and family! That's way to early, but at least little Bel survived and is thriving. Here's to hoping for a fast recovery.
Hey, Bel! Good to see you around again. Even better to hear that the little one is doing well. I'm pretty sure that when you're feeling that weak/worn out there's a rule where your husband is not just supposed to do all the work, but also bring you ice cream. Hope you're back on your feet soon!
Sounds like your little is already a fighter!!!!!!! Good thing to have in a girl. Glad to hear you're doing ok too. Just get your rest and take of yourself and the little one. Congrats!!!!!!!

Hey, mazel tov! Glad to hear everybody is doing OK. Hope you can find the time eventually to come back and show us some pics of the new mini-Bel, once you manage to sleep for more than five minutes.
My word! I'm gone for a few days
and return with the world pas-
sing me by (laughs)! Congr-
atulations on your latest
arrival, sis! Still have-
n't come up with a
name yet, eh? I
am thinking
Micro-Bel
or 7 of
9 (S-
tar Tre-
k referenc-
e)? Please get
plenty of rest. I'm
sure it gets tiresome
being bed-ridden, but at
least you'll get plenty of rest.
(congratulations, Bel... oh and Bel the other sequel, or BelBel, or Belisimo or umm, her?)

Thank you all, it's been a really horrible ride again but..things are getting a lot better now. baby weighs 4260gr now! I can't put that into the weird american measurements..
The boys LOVE their sister, it's really sweet to see, though they smother her a bit. Cuddling a baby is not what a toddler should do! As I said above: I can send photo's, but only throuhg email. i can't get it up here cuz well..let's be honoust, I am Bel.
We managed a name! I'll PM her name, I don't want that out on the internet...
You don't want to put her name on the internet? What, you think she's gonna start getting junk mail at the age of six months? Great to hear that things are looking up, anyway. 4260g is about 9.4 pounds, by the way, which is plenty large. She'll be fine now.
As far as photos go, if you can figure out how to upload them to a photo storage site like Photobucket, then it's not all that hard to paste them here. You just copy the URL (web address) for the photo and stick it in between two [ img ] [/ img ] tags here (minus the spaces inside the tags). The hard part is navigating the storage sites. Maybe you can get one of your kids to do it for you. Toddlers are really good with computers these days.
No..I just don't want her name on internet: it's a footprint, and because her name is very unused and weird. it's gonna be traceable for the next 40 years. (google stores for even more than that, I don't want my daughter asking me when she's 15 "why's my name out there?". I am a sensible adult...seeee?? )
Anyway, I do have a picasa account, but even that I don't want public on fora. So....I'll ink you in a PM. I am THAT nice!!!! Well...anyway. Anyone else wanna see? lemme know I'll give you a link.
I guess that's understandable, though I guarantee it'll end up on the internet sooner or later anyway. The second she ends up in a school database or something, it'll be listed on a website and that'll be the end of that. It really is almost impossible to prevent any trace of your identity from ending up online these days. Sign of the times, I suppose.
That is true. But she's an infant now...So I just don't feel right about it.. It's not up to me. But it is true, as soon as she goes to schoo her name will be out there. I don't like that much either: I don't see any reason why we're all using handles then anyway!
STILL, long live the right of privacy!
(you are right, but lemme have this bit, she's only three months old!!)
