We've seen our fair share of huge Minecraft constructions in the past, and we figured that by now, our jaded hearts would have lost the ability to feel the kind of awe and amazement imbued by truly impressive builds. Thankfully, Minecraft community MinecraftA2Z is here to show us just how wrong we are, by way of their terrifically huge Game Boy reconstruction.
While the Game Boy doesn't actually function, the team did create entire screens out of blocks for use as a stop-motion animation, which to us seems even more impressive. Hop past the break for another video detailing the enormous handheld's dimensions and specs.

Well DANG, this is fookin' cool. I bet the version of Link's Awakening they're gonna be doing next will be even cooler, though. LA is still my favorite old-skool GB game ever. That means the Minecraft version has to be double awesome.

I can't even imagine Link's A-
wakening done in similar
fashion. Ironically, I n-
ever played Link's A-
wakening since at
the time, I did n-
ot own a Game-
boy. It's a sh-

ed out on
an oppo-

ave definitely in-
cluded this in the 10.

With Creative Mode, stuff like this is a lot easier as you don't have to obtain the materials (or hack your inventory for them) now... unless they're using the old-ass Classic version.
Most of this work is done with wool blocks, just to make it easier to update.
I know these large projects take a LOT of time to build, especially if it's a solo deal.

It's pro-
bably goin-
g to be a whil-
e before the Zeld-
a edition is ready, b-
ut that's to be expected.
Well, depending on the size
of the team working on it and
how dedicated they are to compl-
etion. Regardless, it'll be a challenge.
