No gifts or cake, just a typical Monday work day it was for me! I'm not exactly an easy person to shop for, though where I tend to get myself everything I want anyway. So a couple a cards and b'day greeting messages rounded out the day. I did however enjoy my day off of that week by taking a 4 hour hike through the Garden in the Woods for some photo time... as well as the Wayside Inn and Grist Mill.

I tend to work on my birthdays as well. I'm not one to take
off just to celebrate, though some of my work-group f-
eel differently. As long as you were able to enjoy i-
t doing something that you find favor in or jus-
t was able to have some you-time. That's s-
ome hike... though I'm sure the photo o-
ps made it worth the trip. No such lo-
cation exist in my immediate area
so such an opportunity is not av-
ailable to me locally. I too am
not one easy to shop for. I-
n fact, I'd prefer the me-
ans to acquire items o-
f my interest so I te-
nd to buy my own
gifts also. Does
