Just curios if anyone here will be getting one. I refuse to use Apple products and just bought a Samsung Galaxy Siii a few weeks ago. I like it much more then the other phones I have used in the past. The thing I really like if the screen will stay on when looking at the display. It uses the front facing camera to detect if you are looking at the screen.
Apple to me are not really putting out anything new as far as technology goes since most Android based phones had those options long ago.
Anyone getting the iPhone 5?

Re: Anyone getting the iPhone 5?
I've seen images of it just yesterday,
and though I'm not interested in
the phone (financial reason-
s, laughs), I wouldn't mi-
nd owning the latest
ipod nano thanks
to the design
and upgra-
ded fun-
ction-
ality wh-
ich ironically
suits my wants/
needs just fine righ-
t now. Price point is not
as bad as I'd initially thought.
$150 = 16 GB

It seems to me that Apple is about
mico-releasing by way of techn-
ology. It's what I call the Ni-
ntendo Gameboy strate-
gy where they releas-
e a new feature j-
ust about ever-
y year just t-
o hook co-
nsume-
rs. I
guess w-
e the consu-
mers are to bla-
me if we continually
support their products.

Re: Anyone getting the iPhone 5?
Not me. I have an iphone 4S and perfectly happy with it. Personally I like the smaller phone over a large one, so what I got works perfect for my tastes. Plus, a lot of the new features are software based, so with a simple upgrade to iOS 6, I'll have just about everything the 5 has, just with a smaller screen.. which I prefer anyway, so I'm good
Re: Anyone getting the iPhone 5?
I'm happy with Android and would rather not switch to iOS at this point. I'm running the older HTC Desire (which is an okay phone, if nowhere near the specs of the S3) probably 'til next year at this point.

Re: Anyone getting the iPhone 5?
I'm sticking with my "Dumb Phone" just to keep my cell costs down... as I know how much trouble I can potentially get into with such a smart phone & a limited data plan.
