I have the Galaxy S4 and like it a lot more then I do the iPhones. I had the Galaxy S3 but was time for an Upgrade so I went with the S4. They look about the same and that made some people mad,but it has a lot of added features that the iPhones don't have yet. Apple got the smart phone market started but the Samsung has taken it to a whole new level with the Android OS. I wouldn't give my Galaxy S4 up for anything, until the S5 comes out lol.
I think Apple is running out of things to "borrow" and will be on the down slide soon while Samsung and other Android phone makers will be on the rise. I am impressed with how fast my phone is.A Quad core 1.9 with 2 GB ram is pretty darn good for a phone and the very clear display just tops it off along with the camera.
The problem with iPhones is if they lock up,you have to wait for it to go dead before you can use it again.I have seen them do it.With the S3 and S4 if it ever locked up,you can pull the battery out and reset it.I also don't have to restart my phone everyday,I think it's been 10 days since my last restart. Battery life is also really good on the S3 and S4. I can make it all day on 1 charge and that is with moderate use. Right now I am at almost 14 hours and I still have 21% of the battery left. That is pretty good considering what phones were just a few years ago.
