I have been away for a very long time. Life has been well life. I was going through an old computer and retrieving old links and found this one. I tried logging into my old account but for the life of me I could not remember my old password. Go figure its been years. Can't wait to see what everyone has been up to and go back and do a lot of catching up.

Welcome back, Bouncing Cockatoo! Long time no hear
from! Tis good that you've returned! I hope life
has been kind to you in your absence fro-
m this realm! Considering how long i-
t's been, forgetting your old pas-
sword is understandable. No-
t much for me, just work-
ing, living, trying to s-
tay healthy within
reason and tryi-
ng to make t-
he most o-
f my lif-
e (lau-
ghs).

(by the way, I was missing for a while myself...)

Yes that all just seems to sum it up for me. Its been a rough couple of years for me and my family. I lost my job a year ago last Oct. Then had a new one within a week. Now days thats just unheard of. I worked as a temp for this company for 5 months. Got hired in and worked 4 months and they lost a huge contract and they cut back all the people they just hired. So I was out of work again. Job hunted for almost 3 months and found my current job. Pays well and its a good job so I am happy.
Our oldest has graduated High School now and is attending out local college for nursing. The youngest started High School this year. How time just flies by.
Animals are doing well. I think since I have been on last we lost 2 of them. One was our labradoodle Lucky. We had him put down as he was 4 years old and was full of cancerous tumors. I was heartbroken for a long time after that. He was very much my dog. I put so much into him and in return he was the best dog I have ever owned. The other was our sickly Lhsao Apso Darhma.
Everything happens for a reason I guess.

We actually have 2 new ones. One is a black lab mix and the other is a Beagle/Boston terrier mix. I still have Igbo as well. He just turned 7 on the 27th of this month.. Thats his hatch date. It will be 7 years in may that I have had him then. I celebrate both days. LOL
How is Buzz and the long haired cat doing? I can't remember her name for the life of me. I wanna say Star for some reason.

Awww that's great! I'd bet they keep you busy! :mwaha:

Big bird is doing well. Lost the kitty a couple of years ago.

Do you remember Shawn? (Slaved at PT) He's still around. ;)

Sorry I have been away a few days dealing with some things again. I am sorry about the loss of the dogs, had a Lab and had to give him up in 2009 and regret it to this day.Like you,I put a lot of work in him and rehoming him damn near killed me. I am doing better now with things and am considering on getting a pup this spring.I want to wait until the warm weather hits so I have time to work with it outdoors.
After me and the kids mom split, I sold the birds and kept the cockatiel. She is still alive and fussing up a storm. She doesn't like coming out of the cage so I have her in a huge cage that is more suited for a macaw. She has more then enough room to spread her wings and fly around in it. I did get a chance to see my old Grey in 09 and he was a very different bird,I was able to handle him without getting attacked. I have to say he has a great home, but have lost contact with the new owner. My bird, the Black Headed Caique didn't survive long. I was told he had a stroke not long after I sold him and I kind of think it was separation anxiety that might of done it.He was out of his cage hanging out with me a lot when I owned him, another animal I regretted selling. I have considered getting another, but they are not easy to find nearby and pricey.

Me and the kids are doing good. My daughter graduates high school next year and has everything planned out to go to nursing school. She is trying to get into an EMT class for next year to have further knowledge before college. She has been working her tail off at school to get in the right classes. Glad to see you found us few again!
