Yeah, he does reenactments fairly regularly. Has to go down into the states to do them though. A mix of attempting to somewhat accurately reenact past battles, and other cases where they just kind of have fun with it.

It sounds like fun, especially the non-reenactment
battles since they don't have to follow a scrip-
t. Have you ever seen one of his reenact-
ments, Nakor? Something I've wanted
to try was a Laser Tag event when
I was young, though that's evol-
ved into paintball events an-
d that's something I'd like
to try one day. But sin-
ce my ankle is still h-
ealing from a bad
sprain, it's goin-
g to be a lon-
g time bef-
ore I'm a-
ble to:

No, I haven't, though he's shown me video clips sometimes. It would be really expensive for me to go on account of travel and lodging, and a non-reenactor being there would probably just be in the way in any case. They do go full uniform/camo, try to move under cover, all that stuff.

I've played laser tag a few times before, but that's the extent of it. I never had too much interest in it or paintball, never really been my thing I guess, though I do know a couple people really into paintball.

Oh, yeah, I forgot that lodging is one of the issues
of such arrangements since it's not like you ge-
t there, perform and go home. I forget how
much goes into those re-enactments not
to mention rehearsals. I've always wa-
nted to try laser tag but there was
no local places for me at the ti-
me that I knew of, though n-
ow, they're easier to find.
The same with paintba-
ll, but work drains m-
e physically, and y-
ou need to be fi-
t to play such
games (an-
d will n-
eed):

(ample time to recover... laughs)!
