I'm not really a big football fan (it will do in the event of a hockey lockout, however) but Denver...not so good this season.

There are teams that you expect to beat you (unless you're having a killer season) like Indianapolis. There are those surprise losses that come out of nowhere, like Monday Night Football with Green Bay. Then there are those teams that when they beat you... :duh: And it's not just getting beat. It's a slaughter. San Diego or Detroit ring any bells? Sheesh.

Oh how I long for the scarlet hero's of yore.

It somehow continues to get worse in ninerland. Just when you would
think they have hit bottom, new depths of "what the hell was that" are
reached with a resounding thud. Long time, allweather fans can't help
but wonder if crossbay rival Oakland fares any better. THUD!
