How do you like your food? Mild or Spicy?

If you like it spicy -How spicy? Habanero spicy :twitch: or just jalapeno spicy?

How much can you tolerate before feeling like you've been set on fire?

Any funny stories to share? :looney:

Since I have gastritis I can't really have too many spicy things. I like stuff mild or a little spicy.

Just a little spicy for me. I usually can handle mild salsa or medium salsa, General Tso chicken spicy (but not blazing), I once in awhile can eat jalapenos on my subway sandwich, but usually just stick with the banana peppers. I never did like those hot sauces stuff they have in those little shaker bottles.

Mild. My stomach/intestines/colon don't really like me to eat spicy stuff and cry mutiny if I do.

I love it spicy, but chewing on a jalapeno pepper is a bit TOO spicy!

I like my stuff fairly spicy, though that depends on what it is. Mexican and Chinese food are definitely better spicy, which is why I always dump tabasco sauce on my burritos and get spicy Chinese food dishes half the time. I love tabasco sauce. Putting jalapenos on subs and in salads and stuff is good, too. Tastyfun. :chew:

I loooooooooooooooooooooove spicy food!! :dgrin: I eat the hot stuff that makes some cringe just watching me  I've eaten Jalepeno as easy as if it were a cucumber  The only thing that gets me with spicy stuff like that is if it gets on my lips... inside my mouth, no problem... but it's none too comfy on da lips when that heat just lingers there :p

I don't like overly spicy. I like the effect of warmth on my tongue but I also like to taste my food. So mildish-spicy works for me.

You remind me of one of my uncles who will drink tabasco sauce right out of the bottle.... UGH

I like spicy, but I am not suicidal about it. I order the spiciest wings on the menu, but I only order six and I put Ranch dressing on them. I order Chinese food extra-spicy, but I won't touch the little red peppers they put in it (I did once because Val dared me to...I wanted to smack her with a sqweeky mallet for about ten minutes afterwards.) I like jalapenos, but I know better than to eat them raw.

Basically, I won't go near anything that's pute capsaizin (sp?) but I have to have some flavor.

Oh, I've been known to eat the occasional jalapeno that comes with a salad or something raw. I do it just for the hell of it, even though the burning...ness... on my lips is a pain in the arse afterwards. In other words, I do it because I can. Why else? :looney:

Speaking of things that are too spicy for people, I tried one of RAYS's Blazin' wings that he got from BW3's one time, for no particular reason in particular. Worst. Idea. Evar. :dammit: Not only did it burn the living hell out of my lips and mouth, but I somehow managed to get like two molecules of the sauce in my eyes, which felt like being maced. Then, as if that weren't enough, my throat started to close up a little bit a few minutes later, so I'm pretty sure I was actually allergic to them somewhat. Blarg-freakin'-fa. :cussing: I subsequently held a grudge against BW3's for something like two or three years after that, but I'm glad I finally gave that up. The Captain Morgan sauce they had for a while was just too damn good to pass up. :D

Anyway, don't eat the Blazin' wings at BW3's. Hell, the container actually has a warning that practically says "don't eat this" right on it.
