LANDSTALKER-<
><
>Most old time gamers will recall Landstalker, an old action RPG from Climax Entertainment that hit the Genesis in 1993 and provided Sega fans with an alternative to Nintendo's SNES Zelda. Now 13 years later, and following lesser-known games like Dark Savior, Runabout and, most recently, Kingdom of Paradise for the PSP, Climax has tapped into its roots for a revival of Landstalker on the PSP. The latest issue of Famitsu has first details on the game (but no screenshots, so save your yen).<
><
>Currently going by the name Landstalker for PSP, this remake will feature true 3D visuals as well as gameplay adjustments to accompany the new possibilities associated with the change from the 2D isometric perspective of the original. Climax is promising new scenarios and side stories as well as a high difficulty setting. Development is currently at just 10%, but a Japanese release is planned for Spring of 2006. Climax president Kan Naito is serving as director and producer on the Landstalker remake. Naito worked on the original Landstalker and even had a hand in the classic Shining Force series, so we're hoping for a quality update.<

>MEGA MAN-<
><
>The classic original Mega Man is back in a whole new way. This PSP remake recreates the original with a creative new super-deformed style, featuring the Blue Bomber and the evil creations of Dr. Wiley all drawn in new style that makes them cute and hyper-expressive. All of the stages and enemies have also been redesigned using computer rendering for realistic motion and detail. Also included in the PSP game is a new construction mode, where you can create your own Mega Man stages and trade with others to challenge friends to your own dastardly creations.<

>STREET FIGHTER ALPHA 3: DOUBLE UPPER<
><
>The latest issue of Famitsu is home to first details on Capcom's PSP version of Street Fighter Zero 3 (Alpha 3 in America). Fully titled Street Fighter Zero 3: Double Upper, the game promises a number of improvements over the original arcade Zero 3 release. Players will be able to use Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Jam and fight battles over Wireless LAN. As with Darkstalkers, the game will appear on the PSP screen in widescreen mode.<
><
>Capcom has yet to announce a release date for Zero 3, but we expect to see something from the title at the Tokyo Game Show. <
><
><
>MEGA MAN (IRREGULAR HUNTER X)<
><
>The second Mega Man title scheduled to appear on the PSP will be released under the name Irregular Hunter X. A remake of the 1997 Super Nintendo Mega Man X, Irregular Hunter X features new 3D visuals, arranged stages and even new modes of play. The game retains the more mature look of its hero when compared to the hero featured in the original Mega Man games.<
