What about in small amounts, for example three ounces or less? Do you favor or oppose the legalization of marijuana in small amounts?

While I wouldn't care if it were allowed for use in the home or something, I wouldn't want it full on legalized in the same manner as cigarettes... those things are bad enough without having to walk around with skunk stench all over and more pot heads all over the place  I don't care if people use it, just not anywhere near me... :p

I'm sure anyone who uses it would love it legalized, but I've never bothered or had any desire to, so I don't mind it being outta bounds. People are screwed in the head enough without an easier means of accomplishing such :p

I'm in favor of it if it's in small amounts and for medical use only. I know personally about the effects tht it can have medically. My Dad, when he was dying of cancer, got some pot and it helped him with his appetite. I could smoke it then if it was legal because it's supposed to help glaucom patients.

Of the "Illicit Drugs" I'd say Marijuana is comparatively the most "mild" on effects. I'd say legalize it but keep it in the same category as Alcohol. You can't drink and drive, your can't (In most places) Drink in public. I say do likewise with pot. The potheads will be happy, as will the non-potheads. The stench would also make it easier to tell if one has been using it. Exception would be medicinal Marijuana. In that case, the patient would have some form of ID stating he/she is taking Marijuana for medicinal purposes, but would still be under the same rules for driving as Non-medicinal users.

I favor it, but it needs to be kept under wraps, and if people decide to use it for anything other than personal use, the FDA should regulate it. Oh yeah, and treat THC like alcohol and throw the book at people who drive stoned.

Honestly, I have a more liberal attitude toward pot than alcohol.
