Arcade Tournament Feature is HERE!!

Finally... something we had hyped when we first made the move from EZboard is finally ready and operational :dgrin: The BBRT Arcade now has the tournament system where members can start up their own tournaments of anywhere from 1-8 games with multiple rounds per game (single round, best of 3, best of 5, best of 7, etc. ) and right now it's up to 16 players per tournament, but that can be increased should the need arise ;)

So now our arcade area can be used for getting tournaments together... make an open invite/challenge and see how it goes!

We've tested tonight and so far, all seems to work... but should anything be amiss with the arcade and/or this new system, make note here... it was a fairly big upgrade to the arcade system tonight, so there could be a bug somewhere... but hopefully not :)

Have fun!!! Any questions on how to use, query away! ;)

Yes!!! Yes! We did test it tonight and everything worked perfectly! We had a tourney with 4 games: Pacman, Tontie, 3D Pong and MahJong...and we ended up tied! :dgrin:

You gotta check it out! Then gather a little group either via PM or type up your own invite and post it at the Arcade forum. ;)

I haven't messed with the arcade in too long. I'll have to give it a try. I think my Internet is stabalizing back out too, despite a relapse this morning when I was trying to check my email that delayed me 15 minutes. ~_~

Anyway, I'll have to meander through the games again.

With the tourneys, since they're all 1-player games, does it just have each player play whenever they get a chance, then show the results?

Yeah, that's how it goes pretty much. Everyone plays their rounds and whoever comes out with the highest scores, wins! I'm not sure if there's a time limit to how long you have to play your rounds... I didn't see anything with that, but so far it looks like it's a pretty open system where you have the luxury of playing your rounds at your convenience :)
