GAMESTOP GETS TOUGH ON SALE OF "M" RATED GAMES!

According to Destructoid, managers have been told that staff will be fired if they are caught selling games to children. Also, that line managers could be fired if their underlings transgress the rule.

GameStop has long said that it does not sell games to minors, but this policy is a reaction to the ongoing threat of legislation against retailers that sell games to children. Clearly, any future case of a child getting into trouble, subsequent to buying an M-Rated game, is going to play badly for any retailer involved.

We’re awaiting comment from GameStop.

Do you think this is an
effective way to pre-

If it's that bad a problem, I guess they gotta do what they gotta do! Personally I don't think it's a big deal, but if they could get into problems selling to minors, they need to make sure they got that under control. I've gotten carded at Best Buy getting M rated games whenever there's a cashier up front that doesn't know me
