Thanks for the update, TStodden!
I just included my friends c-
ode for Smash Bros. Br-
awl (thought I inclu-
ded it before). I
also added y-
ourself an-
d Jake i-
n my
friends
list for S-
mash Bros.
Brawl as well.
Not sure when I
will be online to pl-
ay since I spend alot
of time on the 360 and
now the PS3 thanks to Me-
tal Gear Solid 4, but when I a-
m online with the Wii, I will che-
ck for you both. Thanks again, TS!

As an FYI, I never got wireless hooked up with the new comp. The dongles aren't compatible, so I won't be online 'til such a time as I pick up a wireless router. It's been on my to-do list for some time, but isn't really near the top of it. I'll let everyone know if/when I do get one though.

Sure thing, Nakor! If you have little need
for one at the moment, no need to r-
ush out and get one (laughs). An-
y idea as to which brand of r-
outer catches your intere-
st at all, Nakor? Also, i-
s there a particular
type you'd want
in terms of
connect-
ivity
?

(such as...)

1. Static router:

In this type the system administrator is defining the shortest path in the network. In static routers, system administrator is giving the shortest path by giving some commands. Static router is not so efficient than dynamic routing. Static routing have some limitations and used in the relatively smaller range of the network.

2. Dynamic router:

In the dynamic routing the router can define the shortest path by itself between the nodes. Dynamic routing is the clever type of routing and normally used in lot of places in the world while routing. In this type the router is programmed in such a way that router itself is taking the shortest path and system administrator does not have to do any thing. It saves time and cost.

AFAIK the two don't mean much when you're router's only got one computer on its network, as would my case be. The purpose of a wireless router would purely be to use the DS with at the moment, and to allow a little more flexibility in cord management should it be needed. Given how little use I have for it other than the DS, it probably won't be too soon. The PC would remain hard-wired through the router, so my main requirement would be: cheap.

I see. The DS alone is not enough a
reason to invest in a router, bu-
t then again, that would be
dependant on how ofte-
n you'd use your DS
and how despe-
rately you r-
eally wis-
h to g-
et o-
nline w-
ith it (lau-
ghs). The ch-
eapest router I
have seen in my a-
rea was one from Mic-
rosoft selling for $39.99.
That was more than 2 year-
s ago though, and the store w-
here I purchased it from had a sa-
le and this router was part of a prom-
otion. I have not seen it around ever since.

I've got a bunch of new friend codes recently for DS games that I haven't updated here. Check my Facebook notes for the most recent updates... I'll get them added here a bit later.

My DS just broke... :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry:

So all my DS Friend codes are currently invalid (grayed out) until I can get a replacement.

Many apologies to learn of your DS,
TStodden! I do hope that you
are able to get a replace-
ment soon. Nintendo
really needs to co-
me up with a b-
etter system
for codes.

The 3DS will only require friend codes for systems, not on the games (excluding the old DS games)... so they're getting a bit better with the system.

Indeed this is progress, and though it still can
be a headache inputting those lengthy co-
des, at least they're no longer requir-
ed for both hardware and softwa-
re... so I guess credit should b-
e given considering the orig-
inal code system. I only h-
ope that it doesn't tak-
e NIntendo another
few generations
to improve u-
pon it eve-
n more
thou-
gh.
