A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge

This is probably the worst of the series. Mostly for the premise of bringing Freddy's existance into the real world and dream world at the same time. I don't know... it kinda made things confusing. I'm not usually one to critique acting ability, but that of the main character in this one was TERRIBLE.

Anyway, this one takes place 5 years after the first and centers around Freddy's attempt to possess the newest resident teenager of 1428 Elm Street and be alive once again.

First victim in Freddy's Revenge is Coach Schneider. First he's attacked by all the basketballs, baseballs, etc. in his office... then dragged by jump rope into the showers, bound and hung by his hands and sliced open from behind.

Next victim is Ron Grady... trapped in his bedroom with Jesse, Freddy emerges from Jesse's body, puts him against the door and slices him down from chest to abdomen.

The final kills are a few random teens at a pool party. It's a cool scene and all, but Freddy completely out of the dreamworld all of a sudden and into reality and the whole mixed emotions of possessing Jesse... blah... no good.

And finally... Freddy's posession is relinquished by a kiss from Lisa. Somehow flames consume Freddy's body that took over Jesse and Jesse emerges from Freddy's remains. By far, Freddy's cheesiest defeat. Well... sorta defeat...
